First things first . . . .

The first thing we need to check is whether your printer is set up correctly.
We do this by printing a test image - a file with a known pedigree which we know will give a good quality print provided your print settings and the printer itself are set up correctly.

Follow the instructions in the main panel on the right.

1. Download the test image file

RIGHT CLICK (Mac users Ctrl/Click) on the thumbnail image on the right
and select ‘Save Target As...’ (Mac users ‘Save Linked File As..)

A dialogue box will open so that you can decide where to save the file. We suggest that you save it on to your Desktop but you can save it anywhere on your computer as long as you will remember where to find it.

2. Once you have saved the file, open your image editing programme which must provide colour management support eg Adobe Photoshop (v5.5+),
Photoshop Elements (v2+) or Lightroom, Apple Aperture etc.
